Membership

Membership in the Sino European Development Foundation is by invitation only and is free of charge.

The Sino European Development Foundation distinguishes between honorary members and regular members:

Honorary Members: Occasionally, the Sino European Development Foundation invites honorary members that have shown an exceptional commitment to, or have an outstanding track record in, diplomatic, cultural or entrepreneurial fields. Sino European Development Foundation’s board has final authority on accepting or rejecting honorary members.

Regular Members of the Sino European Development Foundation: Invitations to join are only issued to prospective new members by referral and recommendation of the prospective member by an existing member or director of the Sino European Development Foundation or one of its honorary members. Just as with honorary members the board of the former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s decides on the admission of each new member on a case-by-case basis. The decision of the board of the foundation is final.
